The next place we strongly recommend would be Downtown, Houston. The Buffalo Bayou rolling through the heart of the city provides an excellent backdrop, coupled with the elegant rolling lines and shapes of the buildings found; it easily makes our top 10 list. You cannot go wrong spending your day here. After the photoshoot you can even take a break and eat at the multi-ethnical business here.

There’s a spot just off the north corner of Baldwin Park which is full of colorful graffiti, great if you’re after that urban look for a portrait. Completed in April 2013, GONZO247, artist and founder of Houston’s Aersol Warfare Studio, finally finished the mural. This mural was the local centerpiece of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau’s “Houston is…” campaign. With a cacophony of colors, this mural celebrates this city’s most iconic characteristics while becoming a popular backdrop for your engagement photos.
